85 Founders Joined Us in Redwood City to Kick Off Founder University’s Cohort 9!

On October 25th, 85 founders joined us in Redwood City to kick off Founder University’s Cohort 9!

Founder University is a 12-week pre-accelerator helping tech startups to build, launch, and delight customers. Cohort 9 has over 250 companies participating.

Founder University, Cohort 9 Kickoff

Kelly Schricker and Lukas Durand, co-directors of the program, welcomed our new cohort and hosted networking and interactive activities throughout the day.

Jacqui Deegan, Managing Director, joined us to meet our incoming cohort as well.

Jason spent the entire day with us. We extended our JCal Jam Session, where founders explain what they’re building in 30 seconds or less. Jason then worked with each company on their one simple sentences and the ways investors will judge their business.

We loved hearing about everyone’s businesses, traction, and challenges!

LAUNCH portfolio founders were also in attendance. It was great to catch up with these founders and hear about their startup journey, post-graduation!

And, of course, JCal made sure to get some selfies with the founders.

A huge thank you to our partners, Goodwin Procter and Andrew Sparks, for hosting us and supporting our founders!

We cannot wait to see what our founders achieve over the next 12 weeks! To apply to Cohort 10, visit Founder.University.
